A RAINY DAY is about the struggle
of an adult daughter to forgive and make peace with an over-protective mother whom she
hasnt seen in five years until her fathers death brings her home again. The half-hour drama, written, produced and directed by Beth Brickell, was funded with a grant from the American Film Institutes Center for Advanced Film and Television Studies. A RAINY DAY, starring Mariette Hartley, Tracey Gold and Collin Wilcox, was broadcast nationally on PBS-TV, received outstanding reviews from critics, and won seven film festival awards. The film has also received wide distribution in the educational market. |
